The PI&E Infrastructure Data and Analytics team has an exciting opportunity to transform Infrastructure Planning & Optimization using analytics. This team applies quantitative and algorithmic techniques across a broad spectrum of problem sets that inform planning and operations for EA's cloud & infrastructure. We work within a larger Infrastructure Optimization team to deliver innovative insights and solutions for our studio partners and other internal EA partners. You will report to the Data & Analytics Tech Lead (Sr. Manager).

Your Responsibilities

  • You will measure, analyze and forecast EA's infrastructure capacity, footprint and resource utilization, for both on-premise data centers and public cloud.
  • You will track, support key Infrastructure cost and usage, and have a solid understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP Cost Allocation.
  • You will collaborate with Finance FP&A, studio partners, & other to help teams understand, plan and manage their costs.
  • You will work with big data solutions, data modeling, understand the ETL pipelines and business intelligence solutions
  • You will build and maintain Airflow pipelines for Monthly Allocation & Chargeback
  • You have the curiosity to find new techniques and tools to extract value from data. You have a degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research or other relevant fields.
  • You understand that analysis must be presented in meaningful ways and lead spirited discussions about the findings. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and discuss appropriate tradeoffs.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a field that emphasizes scientific thinking or equivalent experience in an analytical or quantitative role.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a data engineering role.
  • Experience working with Airflow & other ETL tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL.
  • Familiarity with GCP, Azure, AWS Cloud environment.
  • Experience developing models and visualizations in Looker.


* Base Salary: *€59000 - €73200 EUR (depending on experience)
