The Server Software Engineer will be a part of the game creation process, including architectural design, implementation, and debugging on multiple platforms—working on complex problems and ensuring the live game and new features have been properly load tested for millions of players. You will report to the Operations Development Director and Technical Lead to estimate, build projects and provide excellent results.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on coding for large Java projects, using SQL databases.

  • Create load test scripts to validate feature load impact using Java.

  • Create and work on large-scale distributed HTTP-based backend services.

  • Create server monitoring dashboards in Splunk. 

  • Create server metric capture scripts in Python. 

  • Set up build automation in Jenkins. 

  • Resolve defects during QA testing, pre production, production and from the live environment.

Your Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience developing software in Java.

  • Experience with building server metrics dashboards.

  • Experience with automation tools like Jenkins. 

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python.
