We are looking for our next Sr Director of Operations for EA’s Production Infrastructure & Engineering team (PI&E). Reporting directly to the VP PI&E, you will support leadership in managing the responsibilities for an organization of 250+ individuals, spanning numerous locations and multiple countries.

You have led large cross-functional organizations with experience executing intermediate to large-scale, cross-functional programs with company-wide benefits. You have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical , and deliverable skills.

You will distill large amounts of information, elicit important insights, apply previous experience, and determine courses of action. You will have the capability to establish trust with important corporate partners for PI&E, including Studio Heads of Tech, Platform domain owners, and leadership teams, and product, tech, and delivery leaders for major AAA franchises.

We are a globally distributed team with our largest presence in Austin and Seattle. Function this role will be remote or hybrid but you would be located in Austin or Seattle for semi-regular in-person collaboration.
Travel will be required (approximately once per quarter).

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the rhythm of the business for the organization
  • Partner with Product and Program leaders to guide the goal process, ensuring accountability in delivery
  • Write and manage messaging and positioning for internal communications
  • Partner with team leaders to manage cross-team/department-level resource planning, recruiting and hiring/cost trajectory processes
  • Partner with line managers/budget owners to manage department level budget planning and reporting
  • Identify best practices for organizational planning business business execution
  • Manage agendas and run leadership meetings and offsites
  • Oversee the content development and planning for team meetings & events
  • Create executive presentations, business review updates and related communications
  • Manage activities that help drive a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

  • 10+ years organizing operations for large-scale infrastructure development ideally in games or equivalent e-commerce/enterprise domains
  • Experience optimizing large technical organizations with multiple disciplines
  • Large-scale budget management experience
  • Project/risk management experience
  • Direct experience with modern software engineering practices
  • Practical experience managing the lifecycle of large-scale programs and projects
  • Experience working with executive and C-level leadership
  • Skills for good leadership and communication with influencing and building coalitions
  • Good change management abilities, comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt rapidly
  • Have experience with complex systems and dependencies
  • Build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
  • Handle a wide variety of large concurrent projects with attention to detail and follow through
  • Navigate between tactical and strategic goals with the ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally with our company.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

Base Salary Ranges

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $193,000 - $300,850
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $184,250 - $300,850
• Jersey City, NJ:
º $212,300 - $300,850
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $184,250 - $252,600
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $184,250 - $271,700

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

EA notes that it may ultimately pay outside the posted range as a result of various relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs.

COMPENSATION:

* Base Salary: *zł690,700 - zł857,500 PLN (depending on experience)
• Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of annual base salary
• Long-Term Incentives: Restricted stock units may be granted
• Car Allowance: zł10,000
• Pension Contribution: Employer contributes 5% of base salary
• Annual Leave: 30 days + public holidays
• Other Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Professional Development Budget
