About the Role

We are looking for a smart and talented Application Security Analyst - Pentester to join our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our applications and systems through penetration testing and security assessments, helping us maintain the highest security standards across our products.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct penetration testing on web applications, mobile applications, and APIs to identify security vulnerabilities
  • Perform security assessments and code reviews to detect potential weaknesses in software development lifecycle
  • Simulate real-world attack scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls
  • Document and report security findings with clear remediation recommendations
  • Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on secure coding practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of security testing methodologies and tools
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development process

What You'll Need

  • Strong knowledge of application security principles and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
  • Proven experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking
  • Proficiency with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, or similar
  • Understanding of web technologies, programming languages, and network protocols
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Relevant security certifications (such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN) are a plus
