You will be part of EA's Fan Care organization. EA's Fan Care organization exists to help our fans get the most fun from their games. From onboarding new players to getting them back in the game when they have issues, we support fans across their EA experiences and keep them safe online. We value people who bring new ideas and perspectives to make Fan Care a great place to be and be from. We celebrate diversity and inclusion. It's just as important for us to create great experiences for our people as for our players. We're looking for people who will show up excited to work and ready for fun.

As a Senior Fraud Risk Analyst within Fan Care, you will report to the Senior Manager of Care Process, Fraud & Risk. You will lead the way in supporting the business through data analysis, mitigation scoping and articulation of recommended actions. You will identify impactful opportunities to reduce Fan Growth exposure related to fraudulent internal and external vectors. You are a thoughtful and curious person who has experience using data to promote informed discussion. You will use findings to engage with partners, influence decisions, and initiate change.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide subject matter expertise to partner teams in Fan Care and across EA on channel fraud, internal threats, and account integrity risks that impact Fan Care
  • Monitor, detect, and analyse fraudulent activities and patterns in Fan Care systems and channels. Use advanced data analytics tools and techniques to identify suspicious behaviour and potential fraud risks. Perform in-depth research of data, telemetry, and documentation to identify patterns, trends and outliers
  • You will assess leads and draft clear/concise investigative reports that deliver insight and recommended actions. Present insights on fraudulent patterns, with the ability to tailor the delivery to audience levels
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of identified fraud risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring minimal impact to legitimate Fans.
  • You will develop & implement fraud prevention models and policies. Design frameworks to monitor validity of modelling outputs, and ensure that all policies are up-to-date and address latest fraud threats.
  • Collaborate with partner teams on security and fraud projects. Support the management and response plans on incidents affecting Fan Care
  • You will develop solutions that have clear measurability, success criteria, and action plans through application of project management methodologies
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on fraud detection techniques, tools, and best practices. Stay current with industry trends and latest fraud threats.
  • You will manage your own work portfolio, where you deliver updates, output and insights in a regular and transparent way
  • Support your team in their activities, and contribute to a positive working environment. Be a team player, and an advocate of EA values
  • Set challenging goals that contribute to the strategic mission. Build relationships across EA, where you can unlock barriers and deliver compelling results.
