Senior Manager, Production Execution

The Senior Manager of Production Execution is a key leadership role responsible for a wide scope of operational and team-focused responsibilities. This includes guiding team performance, planning resources, optimizing workflows, managing budgets, and overseeing freelance and vendor partnerships. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the marketing production team and in helping the organization meet its marketing goals.

Team Responsibilities

  • Lead production teams by overseeing communication, coordination, scheduling, and prioritization of requests, assets, tasks, and deliveries across internal and external partners. Partner with campaign leads to define project scope and requirements.

  • Manage contracts for freelancers and vendors, including budget discussions and creating scopes of work (SOWs). Oversee vendor relationships to ensure contract compliance and alignment with business goals. Continuously seek ways to streamline processes and improve communication for optimal resource utilization.

  • Partner with the Director/Head of Production to design and implement workflows that improve quality, increase efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of assets. Work alongside franchise teams to create and maintain effective production tracking and workflows, including oversight of pre-production activities such as schedule and project management.

  • Manage production budgets related to franchise content, partnering closely with finance on forecasting and tracking actuals. Prepare regular reports on production output, resource allocation, and costs. Support day-to-day financial coordination with vendors and cross-functional teams.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide clear direction and set shared expectations across all productions, ensuring accountability and a supportive team environment.

  • Develop and maintain standardized production templates and documentation to support continuous process improvement.

  • Work closely with Craft Production, Campaign Production, and Localization teams to identify workflow challenges and lead efforts to address and resolve them.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing production within the entertainment, advertising, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a team leadership or people management role within a creative agency or similar setting.

  • Demonstrated success managing creative teams (typically 5+ direct reports), with strong leadership, operational, and organizational skills. Experience in inclusive recruitment, team development, and people management is highly valued.

  • Proficiency with production and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Frame.io.

  • Strong skills in team coordination, organization, multitasking, and prioritization. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and timeliness.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$130,800 - $183,000 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
