Main Responsibilities:

As a Technical Artist, you will bridge the gap between our art and programming teams, ensuring the efficient implementation of visual assets in our projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and optimizing art pipelines to streamline asset production and integration.
  • Developing tools and scripts to enhance artist workflows and solve technical challenges.
  • Collaborating with artists and programmers to implement visual assets effectively within technical constraints.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving art-related technical issues throughout the production pipeline.
  • Researching and implementing new techniques to improve visual quality and performance.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the art team on best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python and C++.
  • Strong experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Solid artistic fundamentals including lighting, color theory, and 3D modeling.
  • Expertise in 3D software including Maya and Blender.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Understanding of real-time rendering techniques and optimization strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating technical art skills and problem-solving capabilities.
