SR DIRECTOR, FAN MEMBERSHIP (Ventures Practice)

Successful candidates will be equally analytical as they are creative; they are comfortable with going deep into consumer research and behavioral insights, and shaping those into consumer-facing experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the vision and strategy for Player Membership inclusive of rewards, loyalty programs and ongoing recognition of players
  • Ground the strategy in behavioral insights and intel from parallel industries
  • Quantify the incremental ROI and business impact of the program
  • Partner with the various teams across the organization that have similar rewards tactics/initiatives in development, and connect that work into an enterprise-wide strategy and roadmap
  • Define the mechanics of the program in partnership with key stakeholders across Brand, Studio, Fan Services
  • Partner with product development, experience design, and CI teams to prototype and validate the program, and the design's effectiveness at deepening player progression and retention
  • Operationalize the program through a multi-year roadmap, beginning with a lighthouse franchise to implement prior to scaling to more titles
  • Defines the KPIs to measure program success (eg: more session days, deeper in-game or across-ecosystem engagement, increased revenue through rewards)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep understanding of game development, central tech and marketing discipline
  • Proven track record of working through ambiguity, leading through influence, and getting new initiatives effectively and collaboratively implemented across a highly matrixed organization
  • 10-15 years experience in delivering consumer-facing, interactive experiences
  • 10 years of exposure to the game development process, with an expert understanding of development milestones, in-game UIm
  • 10 years of experience with insights-driven UX leveraging consumer insights, behavioral patters, UXR to inform product direction
  • 5 years demonstrable experience in the fields of moderation at scale, customer care, positive play and player safety

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

 

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

 

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

 

BASE SALARY RANGES

 

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $158,800 - $243,600 CAN Annually

 

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
